The new Student-Athlete High Performance Center located at the Berkeley Memorial Stadium is a 142,000-square-foot space built to be the home of football and 12 of California’s Olympic sports that were previously housed in Memorial Stadium. The center saw the construction of new locker rooms, offices meeting rooms, training and sports medicine facilities, and an academic center. It’s unique design places the entire facility below the pedestrian plaza of the newly renovated Berkeley Memorial Stadium.
